Hej Stylus! Offers Digital Artists Full Fledged Stylus Control on macOS
Berlin-based indie app creator, Eilert Janssen today announces Hej Stylus! V3.4, an important update to his macOS application that makes it easy for designers, illustrators and digital artists to configure and smooth out their stylus and graphics tablet output. The app acts as a control system for the user's graphic input. Version 3.4 offers the Precise Angles Panel which allows the user to orientate the cursor alongside given angles. Suitable for any isometric drawing job - tiles - drawing frames and panels - as crosshatching guide … to name a few. The magnetiser slider defines the amount of guidance - if need for variation in hatching / ruled lines.
Berlin, Germany - Independent app creator Eilert Janssen is today proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Hej Stylus! V3.4, an important update to his menubar application for macOS that makes it easy for illustrators, designers and digital artists to configure and smooth out their graphic tablet, pen, mouse or other input. The app works globally with other apps on the Mac, acting as a control system for the user's graphic input device.
Hej Stylus! is used by illustrators, digitals artists in the gaming industry, visual effects, storyboarding, cartooning and animation. It has been applied in mayor Hollywood productions and mobile games we all know well.
Hej Stylus! offers a free basic feature called "Position Pull," which creates an offset between the real/physical cursor and the "virtual"/computed cursor position on the screen. The app takes into consideration the offset before then stabilizing the line/drawing to greatly smooth it out on-screen.

"I am always curious when it comes down to the connection of the analog and the digital worlds. I waited a long time for somebody to come up with an application like this, and when they didn't I decided to work on it myself," shares Eilert. "After several emotional rollercoaster rides, version 1.0 was released in March 2016. Version 2.0 was released in late February 2017 as update to all existing customers. Now with version 3.4 we've gotten much closer to my vision! But work is never done."
